It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adrina Ferguson Rushing (Plaquemine, Louisiana), who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Rushing, Sr.; her grandson Jared Crouch; her great grandchild Abigal Robertson; her parents, Jesse Cecil and Nina Newsom Ferguson; and her siblings, Laverne Parnell, Jesse "Fuzzy" Ferguson, Jr. and Barbara Jean Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimbo" Rushing, Jr. (Kathy), Stephanie Robertson, Nina Gaudet, Georgie Simmers (Ronnie) and Cecil Rushing (Kaye); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Morgan, Jeremy, John, Chad, Jamie, Ashley, Christy, Derek, Aaron, Katelyn, Kendyl, Eric and Megan. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
