He was predeceased by: his son Adam Paul Berthelot, Jr.; his parents, Clarence Berthelot and Mary Solar Berthelot; and his brother-in-law Tommy Passantino. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Coupel Berthelot; his daughters, Joanie Berthelot Cook and Stephanie Berthelot Navarre (Corey); his grandchildren, Justin Berthelot Sr. (Haylie), Tiffany Skinner (Latrelle), Tessa Moseley (Chad), Kay Himel (David), Jared Cowden, Larry Navarre (Chelsea), Lanie Navarre, Logan Navarre (Jamie), Lindsey Doiron (L. J.) and Corrie Perera; his great grandchildren, Justin Jr., Jacob, Zaylin, Phoebe, Andrea of Alexis, L. J., Chloe, Jaiden, Claire, Hayes, Emma, Abbie, Larry IV, Kaden, Skylar, Emily, Adonis and Aurora; his great great grandchildren, Sakaiya and Niclaus; and his siblings, Beatrice Berthelot Coupel (Edley), Norris Berthelot (Bernadette) and Dora Passantino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
