He is survived by: his friend Odell; his wife Louise Horton Malone of Plain Dealing, LA; his children, Tina Shaw (Michael) of Bethany, LA and Stewart Malone (Angela) of Plain Dealing, LA; his grandchildren, James Lafitte III (Christina) of Shreveport, LA, John I Lafitte (Shala) of Spring Ridge, LA, Jesse Malone of Plain Dealing, LA, Seth Malone (Sarah) of Plain Dealing, LA, Amy Pool (Jeff) of Spring Ridge, LA and Breanna Shaw of Bethany, LA; his great grandchildren, John Lafitte, Jr., Elijah Pool, Casen Odell Malone, Peyton Lafitte, Carly Lafitte and Kaylee Malone; his sister Judy Kennedy of Plain Dealing, LA; and his niece Sherri Swain (Art). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
