It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Scott Coyle of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hugh Scott Coyle to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Scott Coyle and Mary Alice Strayhan; his sister-in-law Sheila Coyle; his niece Laney Brackman; and his cousins, Mack Strayhan and Charles Phillips.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Coyle, Kitty Coyle and Sara Lou Brackman (Glenn); his nieces and nephews, Cathy May (Mike), Charlie Coyle (Julie), Maggie Tufail (Amer) and Glenn Brackman, Jr.; his cousins, Glynn Phillips, Debbie Digilormo and Mike Strayhan; and his friends, David Kelly and Jack Gore. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends.

They would also like to suggest memorials be made to the Cottage Grove Cemetery Fund, 250 Thornton Road, Plain Dealing, LA 71064.
