With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace L. Young of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, who passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vol Cour and Bessie Lavada Stanley Lafitte; her daughter Martha Ray Smith (William Ray Young Sr.); and her siblings, Fannie Mae Etheridge, Dorothy Audrey Lafitte, Virginia Nell Lafitte, Margie Medlin, Evon Burt, Grady Jean Lafitte, James Lafitte, Vol Cour Lafitte, Jr., Ralph Lafitte and Ramie Lafitte.
She is survived by: her children, William R. Young Jr. (Jennifer) and Carolyn Elizabeth Young Wilson (Jimmy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
