She was predeceased by: her parents, John David and Edrie Lee Venable Townsend; her husband Charles Grey Rich; her children, Barbara Ann Rich Tucker and Charles Donald Rich; her great grandchild Christian LaCour; her stepfather J. B. Turnley; her sister Arneta Wilson; her sons-in-law, Bobby Davis and Bruce Martin; and her niece Juanelle Holcomb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Thompson (Huey) of Biloxi, MS, Catherine Dianne Martin of Texarkana, TX and Sandra Montgomery of Plain Dealing, LA; her son-in-law Tommy Tucker of Plain Dealing, LA; her grandchildren, Donald Davis (La'Tricia), Dana Green (Chris), Deanna Simensky (Bernie), David Davis (Nichole), Toni Tucker (Jim Smith), Waylon Martin (Annie), Melody Wolter (Jason), Brandon Rich, Tracye LaCour (Chris) and Jamie Norris (Nick Lane); her niece LaQuita Miller (Ron); and her sister-in-law Nell Huddleston (Travis). She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Plain Dealing Baptist Church (101 N Perrin St, Plain Dealing, LA 71064). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
