Darla Lynn Allen Leach Obituary

Funeral services for Darla Lynn Allen Leach will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Plain Dealing Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. John Braden of First United Methodist Church of Plain Dealing presiding. Her family will receive guests Tuesday, July 24 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Plain Dealing, LA.

Darla died Saturday, July 21, surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. Interment will follow in Plain Dealing Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 29, 1962, and grew up in Plain Dealing where she was raised by her loving grandparents. She graduated from Plain Dealing High School in 1980.

She began her bookkeeping career at Bossier Medical Center and ended it at Hebert's Town and Country. Darla was loved, and will be remembered for her happy voice, her beautiful smile, and her love for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Brittni Owens McCall and husband, Brett; her grandchildren Emerson, Cameron, and Addison; her son, Tyler Allen David Leach and father, Mark; her brother, Larry Allen, Jr. and his wife, Karen and son, Justin; and loving family members Fredna Owens and son, Timmy Owens, Jerry "Trigger" Allen and wife, Patricia Wyatt; and many cousins.

Darla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and Emmett Allen of Plain Dealing, and her father, Larry Allen, Sr.
