He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Young and Virginia Young; and his brothers, Richard and Tommy Young. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Huddleston of Plain Dealing, LA; his children, Doug Young (Jayne) of Punta Gorda, FL and Debbie Young of Kenneth City, FL; his sister Kay Conner of Clinton, TN; his grandchildren, Nicole Martin of Auburn, GA, Frank Martin (Katlyn) of Hoschton, GA, Michael Young of Tallahassee, FL and Stephen Young of Gainesville, FL; and his great grandchildren, Evy, Ozzy Vega of Auburn, GA, James, Karlee and Charlee Kate Martin of Hoschton, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
