He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Rich and Mary Pearson Rich; his wife Betty Jean Rich; and his brothers, Charles G. Rich and Clyde Rich.
He is survived by: his son Brett Rich of Plain Dealing; his grandsons, Keelan Rich (Asyra) and Dylan Rich (Reshma); his great grandchildren, Bennie Christopher Rich and Raya Rich; his sister Nell Huddleston (Travis) of Plain Dealing; and also Seleta Rich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
