She is survived by: her son Yohn Bernard Player of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; her husband Richard Dean Rawls; her grandchildren, Anntiqua Gay (Jamar) of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Yondarius Johnson (Amber) of Shreveport, Emanuel Player of Plain Dealing, Louisiana and Oshenell Green; her siblings, Bernice Thomas of Long Beach, Ethel Newkirt (Bill) of Snellville, Georgia, Jimmy Lee Roots of Plain Dealing, Willie Roots (Loletha) of Los Angeles and Charles Roots of Shreveport, Louisiana; and her great grandchildren, Kyleah Johnson, Kimara Gay, Jamaria Gay, Karlee Johnson, Amoni Gay and Emeri Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
