She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Saxon and Joe Saxon. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Smith of Pitkin; her children, Erik Smith of Pitkin, Heather Horton (Eric) of Pitkin and Candiace Hostetler; her grandchildren, Shaun Smith, Halli Smith, Allie Smith, Kamryn Smith, Caleb Strother, Jaxon Horton, Jacen Horton and Grey Horton; and her siblings, Leroy Saxon, Arthur Pritchard, Jr. and Rebecca Purser (Johnny).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fullerton Baptist Church (328 Fullerton Blacktop Rd, Pitkin, LA 70656). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
