Lee West Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee West Jr. of Pitkin, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his son Ronnie West; and his parents, Lee, Sr. West and Susie West. He is survived by: his wife Rita West of Pitkin; his children, Steven West (Karen) of Kingwood, Michael West (Sarah) of Kirbyville, Texas and Kelly Panuska (Keith) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his stepdaughters, Theresa McLaren (Ken) of Campti and Tammie Harris (Joey) of Bossier City. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Occupy #2 Baptist Church (1392 10 Mile Creek Rd, Pitkin, LA 70656). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
