He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Goode and Emma Goode; his son Cody Goode; and his siblings-in-law, Gaylord Theriot and Tina Goode.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Smith Goode; his sons, James Goode (Teri) and Randall Goode (Charlie Ann); his daughter-in-law Katie Burgess; his grandchildren, Lucas, Jamie, Cort, Brennan, Hunter, Dalton, Sophia, Joslynn, Charles, Faith, James, Audice and William; his great grandchildren, Carter, Cambree, Reyna and Lottie; and his siblings, Debbie Goode Theriot, Denise Goode Crews (Randall) and Joe Goode. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arkadelphia Baptist Church (1903 Arkadelphia Rd, Pitkin, LA 70656). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:20 PM at the Cherry Grove Baptist Cemetery (172 Cherry Grove Rd, Dry Creek, LA 70637).
