It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bryant Thompson of Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest M. Thompson and Wordney Willis Thompson; and his siblings, Erby Thompson Sr., Wilmer Thompson, Delbert Thompson, Henry Thompson and Bonnie Mae Thompson Giles.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Johnson Thompson of Pitkin, LA; his daughter Rita Thompson Patterson (Fred) of Point Blank, TX; his grandchildren, Leslie Cloud Ortiz (Ray) of Anacoco, LA and Christopher Cloud of Alexandria, LA; his great grandchildren, Angela Ortiz Turner (Tye) of DeRidder, LA, Nicholas Bryant Ortiz (Emily) of Pineville, LA and Jonathon Cloud; his great great grandchild Tatum Thomas Ortiz; his siblings, Earlene Bottini of Stockton, CA and E. M. Thompson of Pitkin, LA.; and his adoptive daughter Janene Strother Willis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
