He is survived by: his wife Joan Cardwell of Pioneer, LA; his children, William Jeffery Patton of Sonora, TX, Carlinda Patton Miles (Allen Sargent) of Oak Grove, LA, David Dewayne Miles (Felicia Wooden), Lacie Miles Boothe (Derek), Lindsey Miles, Gavin Patton (Elizabeth) and Garrett Patton; and his siblings, Bonnie Cardwell, Frank Cardwell and Dwight Cardwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
