She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Whatley; her parents, Samuel L. Patrick and Lela Mable Patrick (Moore); her grandson Timothy "Timmy" Whatley; her siblings, Jake Patrick, Hubert Patrick, Jack Patrick, D. W. Patrick, Tommy Patrick, Martha Patrick Womack, Mary Patrick Frith and Ruby Patrick Sellers; and her daughter-in-law Delores Whatley.
She is survived by: her son Earnest Joe Whatley; her daughter-in-law Esther Whatley of Pioneer, Louisiana; her son Clyde; her daughter-in-law Wanda Whatley of Pioneer, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Randy Whatley (Dana), Tina Bray, Tara Howington (Mike), Christopher Whatley (Charity) and Tony G. Whatley (Sharon). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
