He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann Borden; his parents, Mackie Borden and Mary "Chinkie" Borden; and his siblings, Rodger Dale Borden and Rose McCandlish.

He is survived by: his children, Mack B. Borden, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, Lynn Nichols of Pioneer, LA and Vickie Stovall of Dallas, TX; and his sister-in-law Linda Borden of Oak Grove, LA.
