He is survived by: his wife Nickie Borden Pennington of Pioneer, Louisiana; his son John Scott Pennington of Bakersfield, California; his stepchildren, Michael J. LaBorde of Darnell, Mark C. LaBorde of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Michele LaBorde of Pioneer, Louisiana; and his siblings, Donald R. Pennington of Goodwill, Louisiana, Robbie N. Pennington of Monroe and Katherine Louise Taylor of Oak Grove, Louisiana. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
