He is survived by: his wife Sherri Lenard Hawsey of Pioneer, LA; his son Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Hawsey, Jr. of Sherwood, AR; and his siblings, Linda Smith, Thomas Hawsey and Danny Hawsey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
