He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Owen Jones and Nellie Louise Jones (Martin); and his siblings, Henry Jones, Jr., Bobby Jones, Bill Jones, Luther Jones and Ann Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Jones; his daughters, Twala Hernandez (Pancho) and Tammie Henderson (Johnny); and his granddaughters, Madison Hernandez and Bridgette Henderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
