With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Daniel Northup of Pineville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Marguerite "Flapper" Northup; his son Daniel Northup; his parents, George Northup and Dora Jackson; and his siblings, Doris Morlock, Elaine Peart, Delma Raye Northup and Helen Fitzhugh.

He is survived by : his children, Anthony Northup, Deanna Delacerda (Leo) and Tina Northup; his sisters, Verna Pittmon and Virginia Hanes; and his grandchildren, Rachael Hammond, Kasey Kress (Daniel), Adrian Foster (Justin), Brianna Dean, Kaitlyn Delacerda, Benson Bryan (Tristen), Matthew Northup, Jonathan Northup, Christian Alvirez and Jazmine Alvirez. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4000 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405).
