He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Lee Cathey Ainsworth and Madison Morgan Ainsworth; his brother Steve Ainsworth; his nephew Allen Ainsworth; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Adams and Susan Ainsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Little Ainsworth of Pineville, Louisiana; his children, Brent Ainsworth of Beaumont, Texas and Laura Ainsworth Nelson (Dana Hass) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Emily Ainsworth (Matt Douzart), Davis Nelson, Erin Finley and Katherine Nelson; his great grandchildren, Shyanne and Rowan; his sister Linda Ainsworth Adams of Helotes, Texas; his nephews, David, Drew Adams and Anson Ainsworth; and his niece Staci Ainsworth McGree.
