It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Owens Ratcliff of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Roger Ratcliff; his parents, Fred O. Ratcliff and Gertrude Ethylene Bankston Ratcliff; his siblings, Ruth Warren and Fred Ratcliff; and his grandson Christopher "Bubba" Pleasant.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ratcliff; his children, David Ratcliff, Michael Ratcliff, James Ratcliff and Shonda Ratcliff Pleasant; his siblings, Margaret Dubroc and Allen Ratcliff; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Pleasant, MeLissa Ratcliff, MeLea Watson, Katline Kelley, Anthony Mcilwain and Daniel Mcilwain. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Solid Ground Worship Center (5928 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405).
