With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex Lynn Ponthie (Pineville, Louisiana), who passed away on November 29, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Lynn Ponthie; and his parents, Leo Ponthieux and Mamie Ponthieux. He is survived by: his children, Randy Ponthie (Brandy) of Alexandria, Darrel Ponthie of Pineville and Jan Cummings (Andy) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Zachary, Grant Ponthie, Benjamin and Claire Cummings; and his brother Finley Ponthie of Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to The Hope House of Alexandria at PO Box 7477, Alexandria, LA 71306; or to The United Way of Central Louisiana at 1101 4th Street, Suite 202.
