He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Thigpen and Lillie Louise Turner Thigpen. He is survived by: his children, Steven Curtis Thigpen and Bethany Frances Thigpen Poole; his son-in-law Jerrell Poole; his sister Frances Thigpen Price; and his grandchildren, Zoey McKay, Kymani Thigpen, Adalyn Poole and Reagan Poole.
