He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Burns. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Burns (Alexis) of Deville and Blake Burns (Rebecca) of Pineville, Louisiana; his grandson Matthew Wayne Burns of Deville, Louisiana; his mother Barbara Reed of Pineville, Louisiana; and his siblings, John "Bubba" Burns (Dana) of Effie Louisiana, Kimberly Kay Moreau (Sean) of Friendswood Texas, Aletha Futrell (Tim) of Pineville Louisiana, Stacy Hoskin (Trey) and Stephanie Chamblee (Stan) of Madison Mississippi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Country Inn (2727 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
