Though Melinda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melinda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Noel Bryan (Brandon); her granddaughters, Mckenzie and Sophie; her father Richard Hawthorne; her husband Alan Worsham; her daughter Blair Elizabeth; and her brother-in-law Steve Blackwell.
She is survived by: her mother Kathryn Hawthorne; and her sisters, Tracey Blackwell, Christina LaFleur (Ross) and Charla Ducote (Rick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (2202 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
