She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Branton "Buddy"; her parents, Y. C. Walker and Nettie Anderson Walker; and her brothers, Elcie Walker and Reese Walker.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Branton (Linda) and David Branton (Dionne); and her sisters, Christine Tarpley and Lanell Brumley. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
