She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Smith and Nettie Smith; her sisters, Ora Sistrunk, Velda Thornton and Alice Ruth Bailey; and her grandson Gary Cole Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Richardson (Misty), Kerry Richardson (Ashley), Gary Richardson (Renee) and Nicole Bailey (Bill); and her sister Becky Davis. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
