She was predeceased by: her parents, Estelle Coutee and Dewey G. Murray of Flatwoods; her husband C. F. Murphy; her children, Bill Murphy and Gay Murphy; and her granddaughter Sheena Murphy.
She is survived by: her son Charles "Pete" Murphy (Martha) of Natchitoches; her sisters, Patricia Murray of Houston and Elizabeth Murray of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Trina Murphy (Colin) of Elmer, Tori Murphy of Baytown and Cody Murphy of Baytown, Texas; her great grandchildren, Erynn (John), Jacie (Justin), Briana, Charles, Parker, Jase and Chase; and her grandchildren, Jessa, Jesse and Madilynn. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home - Pineville (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
