He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Lawrence O'Neal, Sr. and Minnie Jewel Martin O'Neal; and his sisters, Barbara Nugent, Catherine Williams and Alice Faye Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Marelle; his daughters, Brenda Barrios (Brian) of Montgomery and Barbie Leeper (Chris) of Winnfield; his brothers, Ralph O'Neal of Rosepine and Robert Emie O'Neal (Angie) of Baton Rouge; his grandchildren, Brooke Barrios of Winnfield, Julie Hedgepeth (John) of Durham, Austin Leeper (Lindsay) of Eros, Kellie Leeper of Winnfield and Jimmy Barrios of Montgomery; and his great grandchildren, Simon Hedgepeth and Allen Wayne Leeper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
