He was predeceased by: his parents, Cooper Wray Speights and Mary Speights Ryland; and his sister Mary Elizabeth "Tinker" Muncey. He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Taylor of Ball; his daughters, Tracy Trosclair (Kevin) of Marrero and Theresa Penton (Marlin) of Metairie; and his brother Dennis Speights (Claudette) of Pineville. He is also survived by his grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
