He was predeceased by: his parents, Dode Gowen and Hazel Gowen. He is survived by: his wife Connie Erwin Gowen of Pineville; his children, Jason Gowen (Kerri) of Alexandria, Bud Gowen (Dee Dee) of Pineville, Michael Gowen and Stephanie Botello of Alexandria; and his stepchildren, Dustin Johnson of Pineville and April Danzy (Seth) of Pineville. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
