He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Melinda Martin; his uncle Roderick Martin; and his aunt Tammy Lewis. He is survived by: his parents, Pamela Sue Martin of Shreveport and Alex Ardison of Shreveport; his brother Johnny Martin of Shreveport; and his caregivers, Jeremy "Jer" Herring of Alexandria and Cameron Player of Boyce. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
