She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Massey, II; her parents, Wesley J. Spillman and Ollie R. Brossette Spillman; and her sisters, Doris Lynn Brossette and Charlotte Ruth Spillman.

She is survived by: her children, Henry "Hank" Massey, III (Lee Ann) and Dawn Parker (Tracey); her siblings, Michael Spillman and Jackie Haskins; and her grandchildren, Courtnie Michels and Christopher Parker (Stephanie).
