He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Sue; his sister-in-law Charlene Shaw Torbert; his brother Robert E. Torbert of Nashville, TN; his daughter Sue Gene Hammons (Ken); his nephews, Rob Torbert of Nashville, TN and Mark Torbert of Birmingham, AL; his grandmother Leigh Dodd of Nashville, TN; his daughter Judy Leggett; and his granddaughters, Lauren Hill Watson and Chelsea Hill.
