It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Ball Sr. (Pineville, Louisiana), who passed away on June 4, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Electa Gail Ball; his parents, William George and Rosamund Haggerty Ball; his sister Rosemary Feely; and his grandson Michael Robichaux.

He is survived by: his brother Pineville; his children, John Ball, Jr. (Heather), Robin McBryde (Lewis) and Kimberly Robichaux (John); his grandchildren, Matthew Rachal (Ashlee), Kaitlyn McBryde, Rachel Ball, Kelly Ball, Daniel Robichaux and Laura Robichaux; and his great grandchild Olivia.

“Kim and Family I first met John in 1996 during my first visit to Dresser … in fact my first visit to the USA. I spent 2 weeks with John or should I say John gave up 2 weeks to look after me Thereafter when possible John was always there to accompany me around the area. He was a great mentor at Dresser and we hit it off together outside work with both of us sharing a passion for soccer. It was a pleasure to have known John and I will always cherish his friendship.
