With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lachney of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Lachney and Irene Lachney; his sisters, Diane Johnson and Carlene King; his grandson Steven Lachney; and his sons-in-law, Alvey Lowery, Sr. and Christopher Moreau.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Lachney of Pineville; his children, Cyndi Salmon (Joe) of Pineville, Charlette Moreau of Pollock, Shelia Lowery of Tioga, Charles "Bull" Lachney of Pineville and Robert Lachney (Jeannie) of Pineville; and his siblings, Harry Lachney (Opal) of Boyce, Deborah Hebert (Don) of Hessmer and Bonny Rachal (Troy) of Pineville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
