She was predeceased by: her parents, Premilas Joseph Haydel and Claudia Landry Haydel; her husband David Herman Carter; her daughter Deborah Ann Carter; and her siblings, Beverly Haydel of Joseph Premilas, Walter Haydel, Claude Henry Haydel, Mathilda Marie "Mae" Bourgeois, Gertrude Zeringue, Bertha R. Graugnard, Adelaide Signorelli and Marilyn Rowan.

She is survived by: her daughter Denice Ann Carter; and also, Michael David Carter and Jacobe Anthony Carter.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the same location.
