It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H Cook of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson James H. Cook, III; his parents, Thomas D. Cook and Mildred Gemmell Cook; and his siblings, Donald Cook, Ray Cook Darrell Cook, Bernard Cook, Isabelle Mendenhall, Janet Smeltzer and Carol Ehman.
He is survived by: his brother Pineville; his wife Lola Arlene Helm Cook; his sons, James H. Cook Jr. (Karen), Steven W. Cook (Becky) and Kenneth L. Cook (Amy); and his siblings, Lyle Cook and Blanche Clark. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
The family has designated Horseshoe Drive United Methodist Church, 1600 Horseshoe Drive, Alexandria, LA, 71301 or Heart of Hospice, 1001 Bayou Ct Dr, Alexandria, LA 71303, for memorial contributions.
