He was predeceased by: his son Jesse F. George; his former wife Carine Belgard George; his parents, James George and Annie George; and his brothers, Albert George and Joseph George.
He is survived by: his children, James George, Jr. of Pineville, Troy George (Barbara) of Pineville, Angela George of Marksville and Sherry Kessler of Pineville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
