She was predeceased by : her parents, William Burson and Myrtis Burson of Winnfield, Louisiana; her brother Jeff Burson of Ryleigh; her parents-in-law, Bennie Murdock of Marksville, Louisiana and Marie Murdock of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; her pet Chloe; her cousin Lisa Upton Jungina; and her great-nephews, Chandler Wise and Mason Chandler.

She is survived by : her husband Russell Murdock; her children, Jessica Maxwell (Denny), Shannon Murdock, Jarred Murdock, Gabriel Murdock (Stephanie) and William Murdock; her grandchildren, Gracey Maxwell, Kirsty Maxwell, Kyle Bordelon and Sandi Brouillette; her sister Teresa Chandler (David); and her sister-in-law Edie Burson.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
