We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Geraldine Burke of Pineville, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Burke; her parents, Willie Samuel and Hattie Habird Reed; and her siblings, Walter Reed, Tom Reed, Author Reed, Hattie Mae Trahall, Katherine Reed, Bobbie Evans and Cecil Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Cross, Margaret Tam and Dottie Burke; and her brother John Reed. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
