It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ray Staten of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Kevin Staten, Brad Staten and Sean Staten; his parents, Shady Staten and Erma Staten; and his brothers, Gene Staten and James Staten.
He is survived by: his wife Hettie "Sis" Staten of Pineville; his son Troy Staten of Kingston, Oklahoma; his stepdaughters, Debbie Kent (Glen) of Clinton and Dena Scott of Lafayette; and his brother Kenneth Staten (Nancy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
