He was predeceased by: his parents, John Truly and Selma Louise George Fuqua; his brothers, J. T. Fuqua, Jr. and Larry Fuqua; and his great grandchild Hunter Cole Dubois.
He is survived by: his wife Cora McCann Fuqua; his children, Stuart Fuqua and Kimberly F. Smith (James); his sister Melda F. Deloach; his grandchildren, Abbie Nicole Fuqua Gordon (Kyle), Paige Smith, Matthew Fuqua and Katie Ghoja (Ash); and his great grandchildren, Kennedi and Kyrin Ghoja.
