It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Fox (Pineville, Louisiana), who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Cecile Owen Scott (Morrow Scott) and John Fox; her grandparents, Earl and Virgie McCoggins; and her uncle Herbert McCoggins.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Kenneth Purcell (Louise), Vickie Rose Purcell Craig (Oscar), Mark Arthur Purcell and Michael Scott Purcell; and her sisters, Rose Herbert DeMarco, Barbara Scott Gore and Patricia Scott Goodman. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
