She is survived by : her husband Woodie Shelbie Smith; her daughters, Leta Irene Smith Fletcher (John) and Carrie June Smith; and her grandchildren, Julie Fletcher Mincey (Jonathan), Matthew Luke McGraw, Jack Shelby Fletcher (Victoria) and Stephen Paul Lavergne (Kerney).

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
