He was predeceased by : his sister Naomi Normand; his grandfathers, Russell Desoto and A. D. Wiggins; and his aunt Julie Ann "Babae" Desoto. He is survived by : his daughters, Eliana Nichole Desoto Gonzales (Keyan) of Alexandria, Dezrae Danielle Desoto of Shreveport and Hailey Marie Desoto of Boyce; his parents, Glenn Desoto and Sharlott Desoto; his grandmothers, Judy Jeanette Thornhill Desoto of Alexandria and Mae Nell Jenkins Wiggins of Boyce; and his grandson Jasper Sol Gonzales. He is also survived by numerous half brothers, half sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home - Pineville (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
