He was predeceased by: his parents, Baynard P. Nugent and Thelma Nugent; his daughter Jennifer N. Carter; his daughter-in-law Angelia Nugent; and his siblings, Wes Nugent and JoAnn Roshto.
He is survived by: his children, James Nugent of Esler Field, Brian S. Nugent (Tamara) of Pineville, Joni Donoho (Drew) of Fort Smith and Jessica Nugent (Taylor) of Tioga; and his siblings, Danny Pat Nugent (Judy) of Esler Field, Raymond Nugent (Patsy) of Tennessee, Patsy B. Corley (Terrell) of Alexandria, Barbara J. Delrie (Gene) of Pineville and Judy Roshto (Larry) of Esler Field. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
