She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Hayes Sr.; and her children, Thomas Hayes Jr., Virginia Bazile, Leroy Hayes, Leo Hayes, Leon Hayes and Alice Faye Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Rosa Martin, Samuel Hayes Sr., Geraldine Jacob (Henry), Ella Augustine and Essie Mae Sr. (Evan) of Washington. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
